Hepsia's File Manager section permits you to handle the content of your site using simple point & click actions. Right-click contextual menus allow fast access to different file manipulation options, whereas convenient drag & drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your computer in an instant. You will also find built-in file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to pack and unpack files with ease too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The in-built drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to easily transfer files between your desktop PC and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you want to upload from your computer and then drag it over to your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk. Moreover, you can download files and even folders to your desktop PC by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you can create a brand new file or folder with just a click. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can modify your files easily. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, view the contents of a file or change its permissions, erase a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to archive and unpack all types of files. It does work astonishingly fast - just select the files you want to make a zipped archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive file format (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a selected folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you really do not need any external software in order to modify your files. There is an image viewer, which permits you to see the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact appear on your web site. In addition, you will find an array of integrated file editors, which will give you total control over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more advanced users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
